It's safe to say that the Grabowski/Varner vacation of 2013 was a success. Robert and I met up with Mom, Dad, and Jim in Colorado on Sunday afternoon. We hopped in the rental car and drove on out to the cabin - with an ice cream stop on the way. The cabin and campground were gorgeous! We stayed at
Snow Mountain Ranch. There was a lot to do around the ranch - putt putt, swimming, hiking, biking, ladder ball, and crafts.
We also spent some time catching up with Jim's best friend, Andy, and our good friends Chad and Natalie who live in Colorado now.
One big highlight was white water rafting! It was freezing cold but still super fun. We also enjoyed a trip to the Denver Zoo, lots of family games, and beautiful scenery. Another fun part was eating some of our wedding cake to celebrate (belatedly) our first anniversary.
